In-person events aren’t just fun — they create lifetime clients. Customize Your Invite: If you have an email list, take a few extra seconds to personalize it. Even if you’re copy-pasting the base email, start with something like, "Hey Jessica! We haven’t seen you in a while and I wanted to personally invite you..." or "Hey Ang! After our last conversation, I think you’ll love this upcoming event!" Be attentive. Be social. Don’t chase the sale. Focus on the customer — their wants, their needs — and offer real solutions from a place of connection. ---

Words of Affirmation: Kick things off with a short welcome speech — a warm introduction, genuine appreciation, and a quick guide to the day's fun.

 

TIPS FOR BEAUTY-BASED EVENTS Want to make your beauty event unforgettable? A few small touches go a long way:

 

Offer mini services: Brow shaping, mini facials, quick consultations, or 5-minute makeup tutorials let guests experience your magic firsthand. Create Instagrammable moments: A cute photo wall, beauty-themed props, or a glam selfie station encourages guests to snap and share. 5-Minute Game-Changer: Optimize Your Google Business Profile (GBP)

If you want more customers when potential clients search “hair salon near me” or “lash extensions in [your city],” then your Google Business Profile (GBP) needs to be your #1 marketing tool period.

Set up or log into your GBP and update every section — especially your services list. Add detailed, keyword-rich descriptions under each service (ex: “Volume Lash Extensions in St. George, Utah – lightweight, fluffy lashes customized to your eye shape”). Google uses this info to rank you higher in local search results.

 

Bonus Power Move:

Upload fresh photos weekly (before & afters, workspace, product shots), and post quick updates or promos. Google rewards active profiles — and active profiles get more clicks, calls, and bookings.

 

Take 15-30 minutes a week to do this and you’ll start showing up in the right searches — without spending a dime on ads.
